vegan tottie scones…

hey hope your all well and ready to make some yummy tottie scones (tattie scones)  🙂
lets start from the beginning, these are a breakfast meal, you can enjoy them in a roll with butter or alongside a fry up (i dont eat fry ups but i do enjoy a grill up with veggie sausage, tofu scramble, beans, toast and tottie scones)  there a scottish delicacy in my opinion….. anyways making them yourself saves on waste (since u dont have packets to dispose of plus its cheaper)    they dont store well at all (makes u think what goes into the shop bought ones to keep them fresh!!) so eat them all up 🙂
this recipe isnt strict as u can tell, u can put in as much or little potato as u have leftover…..
 vegan tottie scones recipe
*Some left-over boiled potatoes
*Pinch of salt
*Plain wholewheat flour
*Vegetable oil
1.  Mash the potatoes with a little salt, then work in as much flour as possible until it forms a nice dough…..then sprinkle some flour on a work surface and roll into a dinner plate sized circle and slice into slices (like above)
2.   add some veg oil to a trying pan and fry your tottie scones till golden brown….on both sides 🙂
3.  serve in a roll (bap or bun) with marge and some of your fave sauce (we like organic home-made ketchup)  or serve it alongside an english breakfast (fry up) with some tofu scramble, veggie sausage, beans an toast 🙂  yummy
hope you all enjoy this recipe 🙂  theres more to come ……
